- Food hygiene and food safety.
- Pollution - including noise on land in the air and water.
- Public health - drainage, sanitation and accumulations of rubbish.
- Local Agenda 21 issues.
- Health promotions and taking health inequality.
- Waste collection, recycling and litter control.
- Pest control.
- Dog fouling and strays.
- Transport.
- Public conveniences.
